It is within its Design Office that Aerolia mobilises the tools and skills necessary to accelerate development cycles. This is continued in the different sites via the continuous improvement of nose fuselage assembly processes and detail parts production.

The development of integrated processes reinforces communication and reactivity between services, from design to customer support, via virtual modelling and production. This continuous interaction ensures that lead times and objectives are met in accordance with customer requirements in these high-technology domains.

Collaborative work methods

During the design of a new aircraft, the Aerolia teams are used to working on technical platforms associating multi-function teams: design office engineers, process planners, tool specialists, ergonomists, etc. The easy transfer of information via direct exchanges and concurrent engineering tools provide increased dynamics and reactivity. So, all production issues are taken into account and optimisation possibilities are integrated right from the definition phase.

Aerolia places the experience it has acquired in the industrialisation of numerous aircraft programmes at the service of its customers, to assist them in designing ever more competitive products (Design to Cost).

The Aerolia procurement teams control a supply chain from strategic sources (China, India, Russia) and from a local supplier network, guaranteeing reactivity and reliability.

Aerolia is the first, 1st tier aeronautical supplier to have a consignation stock on the aircraft manufacturer's sites - Airbus has inventory at the assembly lines, managed by Aerolia (VMI: Vendor Managed Inventory).

To provide an optimized service to its customers, Aerolia provides both AOG (Aircraft On Ground) support and short deadline delivery (special parts designed and produced to very short deadlines).
