Saint-Nazaire factory produces metallic elementary parts, mainly for Airbus programmes. Half the production is assembled in Méaulte. A large part of the production is also delivered to the various Airbus assembly sites in France.

Saint Nazaire also delivers parts to the other customers of AEROLIA : Latécoère, SONACA, SABCA, SOGERMA, Stork-Fokker, Piaggio, Saab.

This industrial site lies on 7 hectares and employs 500 skilled workers. Its 2 main assets are a huge technological lead and a specific expertise in high-volume production.

A first production unit is the specialist for stretching and mechanical milling of large 3D fuselage panels and structural frames. Saint Nazaire is the only aerostructures player that made the step form chemical milling to mechanical milling for 3D fuselage panels. This new process brings tremendous improvements regarding Quality and Environment.

The second production unit delivers every day 15000 parts made from profiles and sheet metal. Continuous improvement has led to a permanently optimising the processes. AEROLIA thus focuses on the customer needs: delivery on time and quality. Integrated surface treatment and logistic workforces allow Saint-Nazaire to deliver 3 million parts every year at the right place, at the right time.

Saint-Nazaire is also leading the european aerospace industry, regarding the development of environmentally-friendly technologies: improvement of surface treatment and paint, substitution of mechanical milling for chemical milling.
