PRESS RELEASE
EMC² welcomes AEROLIA, the French No. 1 in Aerostructures
In the framework of the "Composite Meetings" organised in Nantes on 22 and 23 September, AEROLIA announced its participation in the EMC2 Cluster, specialised in the development of complex structures.
Nicolas Orance, President of EMC2, took this opportunity to thank Christian Cornille, President of AEROLIA, for his commitment and highlighted the significance of the arrival of the French Number One in Aerostructures and 2nd aeronautics employer in this Cluster after Airbus.
Laurent Manach, Director of EMC2 and Philippe Marre, AEROLIA’s Company Secretary and Director of Strategy also expressed their delight with this forward-looking approach. "Our participation in EMC2 does indeed complement the logic of our industrial and commercial strategy, because we are at the crossroads of our different areas of expertise, offering our customers the best of both worlds: composite and metal technologies," noted Philippe Marre.
With its entry into EMC2, AEROLIA is strengthening the partnership-based approach it has put in place with the State and with the 3 Regions in which the company is present.
"In the South West of France, we will be taking part, with our Toulouse Design Office, in the AEROSPACE VALLEY cluster where we will be able to work on new materials" said Christian Cornille, President of AEROLIA.
"In the area of applied research" he continued "our involvement will also be very great with the Regional Innovation Platforms, located in the Picardie and Loire-Atlantique regions.
We are thus present in C2TR, the Robotics Technology Transfer Centre, launched by the Picardie Regional Council, and in TECHNOCAMPUS, put in place by the Pays de La Loire Regional Council to promote access to robotics and composite technologies for all of these regions' stakeholders," he concluded.
