3D fuselage panels, a technological innovation, an Aerolia exclusivity

AEROLIA is the only aerostructures supplier that offers mechanical milling for 3D panels.

The dimensions of the panels can reach 3.3m by 10.5m by 1.2m. This high level technology has been developed and patented together with Dufieux Industrie. It enables Aerolia to reduce costs and improve quality, while being more environmentally friendly (the European
Union partly supported the trials and developments through a "Life"project).

More than 1,500 panels have been mechanically milled on February 1, 2009. It’s a real Better, Faster and Greener process, compared to chemical milling usually used.
